Cuvée Jean-Philippe

The vines from which this seductive blanquette originate are located on the hills to the west of Limoux, and more specifically in the commune of Villelongue d’Aude, an ancient fortified village constructed in a ‘circulade’ (a traditional village of the area built in concentric circles).

In this Terroir, situated at an altitude of 300 meters, the softer oceanic climate is ideal for the production of the most aromatic white cépages of the appellation.

This pale gold blanquette releases fine, regular bubbles, together with an intense perfume of Williams pears and honeysuckle. Lively and full-bodied, as it reaches the mouth, it releases a taste of toasted bread with a hint of honey. All together it is remarkably well balanced, smooth and fresh.

Serving temperature: 6°C

Accompaniment: ideal as an aperitif with ‘fruits de mer’ throughout the meal.
